Piet Wiersma driven by unfinished business ahead of Comrades Up Run title defence

Defending Up Run champion Piet Wiersma says he is in the best shape of his life for Sunday's 99th Comrades Marathon. In 2024, he won the Up Run in 5:25:00, just 21 seconds shy of the course record. Last year, he finished a close second in the Down Run behind local favorite Tete Dijana.
