Pikine: Investigators use the cloud as another wrestler is arrested

Malick Kébé, a 25-year-old professional wrestler, was arrested in Pikine after journalist A. Diouf’s home was burgled overnight on October 5–6, 2026. Videos recorded by one of the stolen phones synced to the journalist’s cloud account and identified Kébé, who lives nearby. Police found him in his room with one of the stolen phones. He denies the burglary and says he bought the device for 25,000 CFA francs from a street vendor; prosecutors ordered that he remain in custody on suspicion of nighttime burglary involving climbing.
