Pikine: She Gives Birth in the Street, Abandons the Baby in a Bag... Then Has a Second Child

A young woman gave birth alone in the street in Pikine, abandoning a dead newborn in a plastic bag. Later, she gave birth to a second baby in the toilets of an abandoned building, unaware she was carrying twins and having had no prenatal care. Police were notified of the first baby's discovery, and the woman is now under police surveillance at Baye Talla Diop health center.
