Plane loses door mid-flight, which crashes onto a farm near Abuja

A Triton Aviation Bombardier Challenger CL60 lost a door shortly after taking off from Abuja for Lagos. The crew issued a distress call and turned back, landing safely; no casualties were reported. The detached door was found on a farm on the outskirts of Abuja. Nigeria’s Safety Investigation Bureau has sent a team to examine the wreckage and maintenance records.
