Pastor Timothy Luka, a resident of Sabon Gari in Plateau State, refuted claims by the Gan Allah Fulani Development Association (GAFDAN) that the attackers were not Fulani militias. During an attack on April 30, a youth named Kyenshak Inusa was killed, and several others were injured or abducted.
