Plateau seals gas station, prosecutes sanitation offenders

The Plateau State Environmental Protection and Sanitation Agency (PEPSA) sealed a gas station in the Kufang area of Jos South and fined several residents for violating environmental sanitation laws. This enforcement action occurred during the statewide sanitation exercise, in response to a recent cholera outbreak. PEPSA's Director of Enforcement, Barnabas Pam, stated that the agency would continue to strengthen compliance with sanitation laws until it becomes a regular habit among residents.
