Plenary Sessions: Ousmane Sonko Calls Deputies to Examine Several Texts

Speaker of the National Assembly, Ousmane Sonko, has scheduled four plenary sessions from September 29 to October 2 before the end of the third extraordinary session. On September 29, the Minister of Interior will present Bill No. 21/2026 to amend the law on the ECOWAS biometric ID card, followed at 3 p.m. by a proposal to amend the Petroleum Code. On September 30, at 3 p.m., deputies will review a bill on Health in Prisons, and on October 2, they will examine the report on the Softcare product commercialization. The draft supplementary finance law is not yet scheduled.
