PM Party Driver Reportedly Arrested in Embu Ahead of Rally in Tharaka Nithi

Saboti Member of Parliament Caleb Amisi condemned the arrest of a truck driver linked to the PM party in Embu, alleging political interference. The driver, who was supposed to conduct publicity before a planned rally, was arrested and moved in unmarked vehicles before being released at 5 am, too late to carry out the promotional activities. Amisi warned that such actions could become a major political issue ahead of the 2027 General Elections.
