An engine oil seller, Ibrahim Mohammed Dada, was seriously injured by a bullet during a police operation to disperse protesters in Minna, Niger State. His brother stated that Ibrahim was not part of the protest but was selling engine oil in front of his shop. He is currently being treated at Minna General Hospital in critical condition. The shooting occurred as protesters demonstrated against the deaths of 37 miners in custody.
