Police, army, teachers strengthen security partnership in Taraba - Daily Post Nigeria

The Taraba State Police Commissioner, Edwin Ogbeghagha, reaffirmed the police's commitment to strengthening collaboration with the Nigerian Army, educational institutions, and other stakeholders to enhance security across the state. During a visit to Jalingo, he met with the Garrison Commander of the 10th Division, Brig. Gen. M.A. Oloyede, along with delegations from the PCRC Safe School Club and the Taraba chapter of ASUSS, to reinforce existing partnerships and coordinate efforts against security challenges. Oloyede emphasized the importance of joint operations and intelligence sharing between the army and police, while Ogbeghagha pledged ongoing support for these efforts. The PCRC Safe School Club and ASUSS discussed initiatives to improve school safety, promote security awareness, and foster collaboration between educational and security agencies.
