Police begin traffic enforcement exercise in Akwa Ibom

The Akwa Ibom State Police Command has announced the start of a traffic enforcement exercise across the state to address rising car crashes. The Commissioner of Police, CP Baba Mohammed Azare, will personally supervise the operation, targeting major offences such as one-way driving, excessive speeding, and concealed number plates. Police spokesperson DSP Timfon John said violators will be arrested and prosecuted, while law-abiding residents have nothing to fear.
