Police confirm safe rescue of Adelabu’s sister, twin sons

The Nigeria Police Force confirmed the rescue of Mrs Busayo Adelabu-John Paul and her 12-year-old twin sons, Peter and Paul, who were kidnapped on June 3 in Ibadan. The operation by the Force Intelligence Department’s Intelligence Response Team (FID-IRT) on Saturday evening resulted in two suspects fatally wounded and two rifles recovered. The hostages were rescued unharmed and are receiving medical care. Inspector-General of Police Tunji Disu commended the operatives for their courage and professionalism.
