Police, military alert over planned attacks on schools, NYSC camps

The Nigerian Police Force and other security agencies have heightened security nationwide following intelligence indicating plans by suspected terrorists to attack schools, places of worship, and NYSC orientation camps. An alert was circulated to police formations regarding increased mobilization of terrorist elements. Police commissioners were also directed to tighten security at borders and critical routes to prevent infiltrations.
