Police recover stolen car containing drugs and cash after arresting 42-year-old man in Borno

Borno State Police recovered a stolen Toyota Corolla LE and arrested 42-year-old Muhammed Bukar following an investigation into a complaint from pharmacist Abdulwahab Muhammed. The car was taken on October 16 from Muna Road in Maiduguri while its owner was away praying. It contained 230,000 naira, $200, a Redmi tablet, an ATM card and pharmaceutical products valued at about 3.3 million naira. Police said the suspect confessed to opening the car with another key; the vehicle and recovered items remain in police custody as investigations continue.
