Police reinstates ban on motorcyclists in downtown Lubumbashi

The Congolese National Police (PNC) announced that starting May 4, motorcycles and tricycles will not be allowed to circulate between 9:30 PM and 5:00 AM in downtown Lubumbashi. A circulation perimeter has been established for these vehicles to ease the often congested traffic. The president of the Lubumbashi motorcyclists' association stated that the measure will be respected by its members.
