Political news: Appeal Court upholds NDC registration, overturns Lokoja ruling

The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) announced its participation in the 2027 general elections after an Appeal Court upheld its registration. Additionally, NDC candidate for the Ughelli/Udu Federal Constituency, Dr. Obiuwevbi Ominimini, accused Delta State Governor and the All Progressives Congress (APC) of sponsoring an attack on his supporters. Furthermore, NDC members were attacked by thugs during a support march for Peter Obi in Warri.
