Pope Leon XIV arrived in Algeria on Monday

Pope Leon XIV left Rome for his third apostolic journey, starting with a two-day visit to Algeria, making him the first pope to visit this predominantly Muslim country. He is expected in Cameroon in the coming days, with preparations underway in the cities of Douala, Yaoundé, and Bamenda to welcome the pontiff.
