Pr Moussa Seydi throws in the towel, Senegal loses a monument: 'I refuse to run in vain'

Pr Moussa Seydi, head of the Infectious and Tropical Diseases Service at Fann Hospital, announced the cessation of his HeRO foundation project after six years of efforts, citing bureaucratic inertia as the main reason. The project aimed to maintain and develop the SMIT, a crucial healthcare service for Senegal. Despite the abandonment of HeRO, Pr Seydi remains committed to continuing his fight for the sustainability of health infrastructures.
