Premier League releases statement on why Haaland's goal against Man Utd was given

The Premier League explained that Erling Haaland's goal for Manchester City against Manchester United was allowed after a VAR check. Although referee Michael Oliver initially ruled the goal out for offside, the VAR determined that Haaland was onside and recommended that the goal be awarded. Additionally, it was deemed that Fernandez, while in an offside position, did not play the ball.
