Works Minister Dave Umahi says Igbos never agreed to back Peter Obi for a single four-year presidential term. In an interview aired Friday on Arise Television, he faulted the Nigeria Democratic Congress candidate for not consulting political stakeholders in the South-East before making the proposal. Umahi said the region should discuss its political strategy and how a future presidency might be shared among its states, naming Ebonyi, Enugu, Imo and Abia after Anambra and President Nnamdi Azikiwe.
