Presidential election: South East voting patterns will no longer go against APC - Zonal leader

The South-East Woman Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mrs Oby Ajih, stated that her party would achieve a convincing victory across the entire South-East region in the 2027 election. She noted that the APC's losses in the South-East during the 2015, 2019 and 2023 presidential elections would not be repeated, attributing the change to President Bola Tinubu's performance. Ajih also dismissed speculation that the kidnapped Otu pupils and their teachers had been abandoned, assuring that the Federal Government is employing the best strategies to secure their release. Abia APC Woman Leader, Mrs Cecilia Erondu, said widows gathered to pray for an end to insecurity and for President Tinubu's good health.
