The High Court of Pretoria has approved a compromise regarding the remains of former Zambian President Edgar Lungu, who died in South Africa over ten months ago. The agreement states that the body will be kept at the AVBOB morgue in Pretoria East pending a decision from the Supreme Court of Appeal. The transfer initially scheduled from B3 Undertakers has been postponed to May 4, 2026, at the family's request, represented by lawyer Makebi Zulu.
