Private Financing: IDB Highlights 62.3 Billion FCFA Operations with Four Cameroonian Banks

The Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD) announced on September 14, 2026, in Yaoundé, operations totaling 95 million euros, approximately 62.3 billion FCFA, with AFG Bank Cameroon, Commercial Bank Cameroon, Afriland First Bank, and CCA-Bank. These funds aim to strengthen local banks' resources for lending to SMEs and other private enterprises. However, some of these operations had already been initiated prior to this date.
