Prof Haruna appointed substantive Vice Chancellor of Federal University of Education, Kontagora

The governing council of the Federal University of Education, Kontagora (FUEK), Niger State, has announced the appointment of Professor Farouk Rasheed Haruna as the substantive Vice-Chancellor after a thorough selection process including interviews and adherence to the Federal Character principle. He will assume duty on November 4, 2025. The university, established in 2021 and operational since March 2025, is developing new curricula in artificial intelligence and entrepreneurship, and continues to operate smoothly despite local security challenges.
