PS Hinga Asks MPs for Extra Ksh 150B to Fund Affordable Housing

Charles Hinga, the Principal Secretary of the State Department for Housing and Urban Development, has requested Parliament to approve an additional Ksh150 billion to address a significant funding gap in the government's affordable housing program. He noted that current funding levels are insufficient to meet the target of delivering thousands of housing units annually. Hinga also indicated that the program requires about Ksh228 billion to remain on track.
