PS Mang’eni Details Steps to Implement Pending Permit Waivers for Nyota Fund Beneficiaries

Principal Secretary for MSMEs, Susan Mang'eni, explained the delay in rolling out permit waivers for Nyota Fund beneficiaries due to a lack of a structured framework and data on the number of beneficiaries per county. She stated that the ministry is working with all 47 county governments to establish this framework. Additionally, the government plans to roll out phase two of the Nyota Fund, providing beneficiaries with an additional KSh 25,000 each to support their businesses.
