PSC, EACC Push New Digital System for Public Officers' Wealth Declarations

The Public Service Commission (PSC) and the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) are considering upgrading Kenya’s wealth declaration system by automating the submission and management of income and asset declarations for public officers. During a capacity-building workshop in Naivasha, PSC Chairperson Francis Meja highlighted that AI could make retrieving individual DIAL forms from over 300,000 records easier. EACC Chairperson David Oginde emphasized the need for digital tools and better integration of public service platforms to improve oversight and prevent corruption related to conflicts of interest.
