Public conference: ASCAD focuses on coastal erosion and coastal risks on September 16

On September 16, 2026, ASCAD will hold a conference at Félix Houphouët-Boigny University focusing on coastal erosion in Ivory Coast. Professor Hauhouot Asseypo Célestin will present the transformations affecting the coastline, addressing human issues and management strategies. Examples of protective measures in Grand-Lahou and Grand-Bassam will also be discussed to evaluate the effectiveness of responses to coastal risks.
