Public Universities: Teachers Launch Unlimited Strike

On September 3, the National Executive Bureau of BEN-SYNES announced an unlimited strike in public universities in Cameroon. The union denounces the non-payment of the special allocation for research and demands the settlement of academic debts. It calls on all teachers to suspend their academic activities until their demands are met and remains open to constructive dialogue with the government.
