An investigation by Danwatch, the Sunday Times, and the Dossier Center uncovers the scale of a secret Russian military project beneath Mount Kosvinsky in the Urals, associated with the Perimetr 'Dead Hand' nuclear system. Since 2018, the site has undergone massive expansion, with intensified work between 2020 and 2021, involving around 22,000 tons of steel and 56,000 tons of cement to cover nearly 150,000 square meters. The complex includes at least 24 underground chambers connected by an air system, stretching approximately 2.5 km, and equipped with filtration systems to guard against chemical, biological, and radioactive contamination.
