Peter Obi’s loans still being deducted from Anambra allocations — Commissioner

The Anambra State Government stated that deductions are being made monthly from the Federation Account allocations to service loans obtained by former Governor Peter Obi's administration. Commissioner for Information, Law Mefor, clarified that these loans, guaranteed by the Federal Government, are not grants and require repayment. Mefor also disputed Obi's claims that he left no financial liabilities for his successor, emphasizing that some obligations remain outstanding.
