Board of Peace plans $2.4bn Gaza reconstruction as Israel kills seven

The US-backed Board of Peace has proposed a $2.4 billion plan to rebuild Gaza, despite Israeli attacks killing seven Palestinians in the enclave. The plan, unveiled at a UN meeting, includes 66 projects, but its feasibility remains uncertain. The total damage cost from Israeli strikes is estimated at $35 billion over the medium term, with an additional $71.4 billion over the next decade. Implementation depends on Hamas disarmament, which was agreed upon in July, though little progress has been made on the ground.
