Radiocommunications and Space: Abidjan Concludes Three Days of Converging Forums

The second edition of the Radio Communications Forum and the first Africa Space Expo concluded on September 26, 2026, in Abidjan, bringing together institutional actors, space agencies, academics, industry representatives, international partners, and students. The event emphasized the importance of viewing the spectrum and space as an integrated technological ecosystem, with over 250 bilateral meetings and initiatives aimed at youth engagement in space. Dr. Tidiane Ouattara, head of the Ivorian Space Agency, highlighted the need for collaboration among satellites, radio spectrum, and terrestrial networks, stating that no country can tackle space alone.
