Raila petrol firm gets a share of G-to-G fuel deal

BE Energy, associated with the family of the late Prime Minister Raila Odinga, has been selected to import fuel under a government contract with three Gulf-based companies. Holding a 35% stake, BE Energy secured the import of two cargoes of diesel as part of this deal. This development follows a political rapprochement between President William Ruto and Raila Odinga in 2024.
