On September 15, 2026, the Minister of Digital Economy, Augustin Kibassa Maliba, launched the training of 50 registration agents for the RDC-PASS system in Kinshasa, aimed at providing a digital identifier to Congolese citizens. Kibassa emphasized that the RDC-PASS does not replace the national identity card.
