RDC-USA: Kinshasa aims to accelerate the implementation of the strategic agreement and prepare for a centralized tax authority

Almost a year after the strategic partnership agreement was signed between the DRC and the United States on December 4, 2025, Kinshasa is strengthening its follow-up through the RDC-USA Task Force. Prime Minister Judith Suminwa Tuluka will chair a meeting on October 12, 2026, to coordinate actions including US technical assistance, the Lobito corridor development, and strategic project selection. The meeting will also prepare for the upcoming joint steering committee meeting and a Paris conference on the Inga project, with US officials and the World Bank present.
