Real Madrid demand La Liga chief’s resignation

Real Madrid demanded the immediate resignation of Javier Tebas as La Liga president and vice-president of the Spanish Football Association after he compared the club’s criticism of referees to propaganda methods associated with Joseph Goebbels. Real Madrid called the remarks deeply offensive and morally repugnant and rejected his clarification. Tebas and club president Florentino Pérez have clashed before over refereeing and the proposed European Super League.
