Rebirth of NiMet: Anosike’s reforms transforming Nigeria’s climate agency

The First Green White Resources Centre praised the ongoing transformation at the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) as an institutional rebirth. Under Charles Anosike's leadership, reforms have been implemented, including the approval of a new salary structure and improved working conditions for employees. NiMet has also invested in staff training and secured accreditation for its training institutions, aiming to strengthen meteorological capacity in Nigeria and West Africa.
