Red card for players covering their mouths in World Cup matches

Players covering their mouths during confrontations with opponents will receive a red card under a new rule approved by the International Football Association Board (IFAB). This decision follows an incident in a Champions League match where a player made racist comments while hiding his mouth. Additionally, players and officials who leave the field in protest of a referee's decision will also face sanctions.
