Religious Leaders Increase Engagement in Ebola Fight in DRC

Religious leaders in the Democratic Republic of Congo have decided to increase their involvement in the fight against Ebola following a meeting in Kinshasa organized by Caritas Congo ASBL. They developed a roadmap outlining priority actions such as community awareness on prevention measures, promoting safe funeral practices, and combating misinformation, stigma, and discrimination. The religious leaders commit to regularly informing the public about disease symptoms and encouraging prompt use of health facilities.
