Renewable energy: $4m injected into expansion of solar mini-grids in Nigeria

The Nigerian federal government has invested $4 million in the development of solar mini-grids across 19 communities in Jigawa and Bauchi states. This project, supported by All On and Energise Africa, aims to provide reliable and sustainable electricity to 100,000 people while promoting local enterprise development. According to Caroline Eboumbou, CEO of All On, access to energy is crucial for enabling communities to thrive economically and socially.
