Resident doctors suspend strike, to resume work Wednesday

The National Association of Resident Doctors announced the suspension of its planned strike following an amicable resolution of their demands. This decision came after an emergency meeting of the National Executive Council, where the federal government showed renewed willingness to address concerns regarding the payment of salary arrears and hazard allowances. Although the dispute is not fully resolved, resident doctors will resume duties at 8 am on Wednesday.
