Response to Ebola: Chinese mining companies contribute one million USD

Chinese mining companies operating in the Democratic Republic of Congo have mobilized one million USD to support government efforts in the fight against Ebola. This contribution was presented to the Minister of Mines, Louis Watum Kabamba, in the presence of the Chinese ambassador to the DRC, Zhao Bin. The minister praised this gesture as an important support for actions taken to contain the spread of the virus.
