Resumption of traffic on the Kashebere-Mungazi road in Walikale after several days of clashes

Calm has been observed on the Kashebere-Mungazi road after four days of clashes between AFC/M23 rebels and FARDC, supported by Wazalendo. Although traffic has resumed, the social and security situation remains concerning, with schools still closed in the Luberike group. The fighting also disrupted traffic on the Goma-Masisi-Walikale route, which is essential for the transport of people and goods.
