Return Migrants to Benin: How Benin Can Keep Its Children Through Hope

Every year, hundreds of young Beninese attempt to migrate abroad driven by the search for employment or poverty. Many endure dangerous journeys by sea or desert, and are often repatriated by the Beninese government for humanitarian reasons. Upon return, they face social stigma, loss of savings, and psychological trauma, making social and economic reintegration difficult.
