Reug Reug Case: Amady Diop Finally Arrested, Compromising Audios Discovered

Amady Diop, a 41-year-old real estate agent, was arrested on September 29 in Bambilor as part of the investigation into the case involving wrestler Reug Reug, Oumar Kane. He is suspected of conspiracy, attempted fraud, and possession of materials for counterfeiting banknotes, following the discovery of WhatsApp voice exchanges about a transaction involving fake 'black bills' worth ten billion dollars. Diop reportedly expressed interest in purchasing these counterfeit bills while waiting for funds from Diégane Faye, aka 'Saltigué,' who allegedly verified their authenticity. During his interrogation, he denied any involvement in the production or distribution of counterfeit currency.
