Rigobert Song is close to a new coaching position

Rigobert Song, former coach of Cameroon, is in talks to become the new head coach of the Congo national team, currently ranked 133rd in the world. After a period of inactivity since January 2024, he could officially take on this new role in the coming days. His previous attempt with the Central African Republic failed due to the federation's preference for another coach.
