Rivers: Police foil cult initiation, detain 13 suspects

Police arrested 13 suspected cultists during an initiation ceremony in Eleme Local Government Area of Rivers State. The suspects were apprehended in a forest between Alode and Onne while about 100 young men gathered for the ritual. The group was identified as members of the Aiye Confraternity, commonly known as Black Axe. The operation was confirmed by Police spokesperson ASP Blessing Agabe, who stated that an investigation has commenced.
