Roger Kamba before MPs: 'More than 14 laboratories deployed and Ebola test results obtained in 24 hours'

Health Minister Samuel Roger Kamba was heard on July 16, 2026 at the National Assembly on the Ebola epidemic. He announced the deployment of more than 14 laboratories and test results within 24 hours. The epidemic affects five provinces (Ituri, North Kivu, South Kivu, Haut-Uélé, Tshopo) with 2,011 confirmed cases and 744 deaths, a case fatality rate of 37.5%. Ituri accounts for 90% of cases.
