Ronnel Donnelly hat-trick powers Banyana Banyana to four-goal blitz against Madagascar

On October 9, 2026, South Africa's women's team Banyana Banyana secured a 4-0 victory against Madagascar in the first leg of their Olympic qualifiers in Bloemfontein. Ronnel Donnelly scored a hat-trick, playing a key role in the win. The second leg will be held at the same venue, with South Africa having home advantage, and they need to sustain their performance to qualify. The team’s strong defensive and offensive display bodes well for their upcoming goals, including the 2027 World Cup qualifiers.
